Lions Club of Chili Wraps Up Busy Season

The Lions Club of Chili, along with the Churchville Lions and the Scottsville Lions, rang the Salvation Army bell in front of the pet supplies store in Chili Center. Community members from Chili and the surrounding areas generously supported the effort.

The group provided 30 Christmas food baskets to families in the Chili community. Food collection efforts were a huge success, and leftovers were donated to SWEM, a community food cupboard located at Gates Presbyterian Church. Fifty-eight children received Christmas gifts this year, thanks to Calnon & Cilano and the Angel Tree, which was co-sponsored by the Chili Recreation Department.

Lions also continue to feed the homeless in Rochester by providing meals throughout the year in conjunction with the Operation Caring Hearts organization.
