Twichell, Thomas M., died October 5, 2025 at age 79. He is survived by his children, James R. Twichell and Maureen (Randy) Tomlinson; grandchildren, Katie, Dylan, Cali, Jackie, and Sophia; his brother, Richard M. (Nu Thai) Twichell; his sister, Jane Twichell; and many cousins. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, James R. and Anita F. Thompson Twichell. Tom grew up in Webster. He served in the US Navy from 1964 to 1984. After retiring from the service, he joined GTE, working at locations throughout the U.S. and Germany. For many years after his retirement, he divided his time between the Philippines, Hilton, and Lake Wales, FL.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions in memory of Thomas can be made to Veteran’s Outreach, 447 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton.
