Death Notices

BROCKPORT: Nothnagle, Patricia N., died on December 26, 2025, at age 79. She is survived by her children, Tammy (Tom) Canfield, Christopher (Aneli) Nothnagle, and Rhonda (Brian) Stone; grandchildren, Amanda (Rick) Seaman, Thomas and Noah Canfield, Collin and Nathan Nothnagle, Kirsten and Jason Platt, Siena, Lydia and Alana Stone; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Clara and Troy Seaman; siblings, Barb Fitzsimmons, Gail (Bill) Lembach, Larry (Dawn) Heffer, and Connie Schickler; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Services were held on January 2 at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Clifton, NY. Donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to Maple Grove Place Cemetery, 18 Clifton Road, Churchville, NY 14428.

CHILI: Green, Florence L., died on December 22, 2025, at age 92. She was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Kilker, and son, Thomas Scott. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Antonia) Scott; grandchildren, Daniel T. Scott and Jennifer (Zachery) Bardeen; great-granddaughter, Violet Bardeen; and brothers, Butch Dean and Eddie (Robin) Dean. She retired from Ragu as a Security Administrator, where she was known for her dedication and work ethic. Florence also volunteered at the Monroe Developmental Disabilities Service Office, where she made a lasting impact on many people’s lives. Florence will be remembered for her kindness, energy, love of community, and dedication to family.

CLARENDON: Clark, James M. “Jim” “Shaggy,” died on December 25, 2025, at the age of 60. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Felicia Clark; brother, Bill Clark; and father- and mother-in-law, Harold and Norma Emmerson. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Carol; sons, Jason Emmerson, Daniel (Gabi) Clark, Aaron (Leslie) Clark, and Brandon Clark; brothers-in-law, David (Sue) Emmerson, Tom (Karen) Emmerson, Bruce (Debbie) Emmerson, Jeff Emmerson, and Rob (Darla) Emmerson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Jim received a liver transplant in 2010, which offered many more years to his life. He loved being a truck driver, was an avid sports fan, and was great at random trivia. 

Visitation was held on January 2, 2026, at Fowler Funeral Home Inc. in Brockport. A Celebration of Jim’s Life is being held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Holley Assembly of God, 54 North Main Street, Holley.

HAMLIN: Nundy, Naomi Joyce Weitz, died on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Frederick Nundy (2016), and brother, Harlan Weitz (2003). She is survived by her sons, Kim, Chris, and Scott (Jill) Nundy; daughter, Lee Ann (Steve) Stello; grandchildren, Nick (Allie) Nundy and Mike (Michaela) Nundy; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Joanne Baxter; sister-in-law, Marilyn Weitz; and several nieces and nephews. Naomi was employed at Hilton East and in home health care.  She was a devout member of St. John Lutheran Church in Hamlin, for which she volunteered as Nursery Roll Supervisor for over 11 years.  She also volunteered for the Leukemia Society of Rochester for a decade.

Services were held on December 29, 2025, at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Interment will be held in Parma Union Cemetery in Hilton. Donations in Naomi’s memory may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1107 Lake Road, Hamlin, NY 14464.

HILTON: Flugel, Richard J. “Dick” Sr., died on December 24, 2025, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joyce, in 2006; his mother, Caroline Henderson; and brother, William Raleigh. He is survived by his children, Alice Flugel Raimondi and Richard Flugel Jr.; grandchildren, Valerie (Troy) Partlow and Nicholas (Melanie) Flugel; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Baker, and Audrey; sisters, Norma Richard and Nancy Ream; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Richard was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He retired from a lifelong career with Eastman Kodak Co., where he worked as an equipment operator. Richard found joy in listening to country music and golf.

Richard’s Memorial Service will be held later in the spring at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Avenue, Hilton, NY 14468, with Interment in Lakeside Cemetery. Donations in Richard’s memory may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Avenue, Hilton, NY 14468.

SPENCERPORT: Singer, Robert H., died on December 23, 2025, at age 93. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Joan; daughter, Kimberly Kehrer; mother, Mary Jane; and siblings, William, Jessie, Marie, and Mildred. He is survived by his loving children, Robert (Patricia) Singer and Kristen (Matthew) Hurlbutt; son-in-law, Ronald Kehrer; grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott), Ryan (Clary), Cameron, Noah (Lexi), Courtney (Jay), Colby, Luke, and Adam (Jayla); great-grandchildren, Lily, Veronica, Ruby, Emma, Hudson, Evan, and Ashlyn; brother-in-law, Richard Winn; special nephew, Richard Kohler (Maureen); special niece, Shirley Stickles; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Bob was lovingly cared for by close family friend Pat Frearson over the last year. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955, maintaining reserve status until honorable discharge in 1961. He worked in the circulation department at Gannett from 1961 until his retirement in 1993. Bob loved the newspaper business so much that he continued to deliver newspapers on his “tube route” for years after his retirement.

Bob’s Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Private interment. Arrangements entrusted to Walker Brothers Funeral Home. Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church.
